Tron Legacy - Daft Punk Soundtrack

We all heard about the rumor of Daft Punk being involved in the new reboot Tron's film soundtrack.
As a reminder, Tron is a 1982 movie that used a lot of computer graphics and it's one of the thing that made it quite popular.Yeah, pre-CGI-era.

Anyway a sequel is on the road and will hit us on December this year.Check the trailer :



But the real deal here is of course the confirmed news (1) that Daft Punk will do the soundtrack. In fact they already give us a little hint at what it might look like at last year Comic-Con :



A fan reworked has been made too :



I think a darker tone will perfectly suit the Daft Punk compositions and put them at their best.That must be what they think too, if not why expressing the wish to do a live tour of it ?(2)
So we will cover any news from now on about the whole project.Following Alive 2007 'Best Electronic Album' could be 'Best Electronic Soundtrack Album And Tour'!

Posion Lips is a track from his last album "Flashmob" which is really great.Kinda stuck myself on repeat to "Terminateur Benelux".

Nuits Sonores 2008 : la programmation dévoilée

La programmation de la 6e édition du festival Nuits sonores - qui se déroulera du 7 au 11 mai 2008 a Lyon - regroupe quelques mastodontes internationaux comme Underworld, Agoria ou Jeff Mills mais aussi des perles moins connus tel qu'Onur Özer dont on avait déjà parlé ici.

Soulwax (2 Many Dj's) s'apprêtent a sortir une compilation de leur meilleurs remixes sous la forme d'un double cd simplement intitulé :

"Most of the Remixes We've Made Over the Years Except for One by Einsturzende Neubaten Because We Lost it and a Few We Didn't Think Sounded Good Enough or Just Didn't Fit In But Including Some That are Hard to Find Because Either People Forgot About Them Or Just Simply Because They Haven't Been Released Yet.
